Yes, fatigue is actually the most common and debilitating symptom of MS, affecting over 80% of people with the condition. MS fatigue is different from normal tiredness - it's typically more severe and can feel like complete exhaustion that persists even after rest.

Many MyMSTeam members describe their fatigue as:
• "Bone-crushing fatigue"
• "Utter weariness"
• "Like taking three sleeping pills and still trying to function"
• "My brain and body just stop working" This type of MS fatigue tends to:
• Occur daily
• Get worse with heat exposure
• Last for extended periods
• Not improve with coffee or short naps
• Impact both physical and mental energy

To help manage severe fatigue, consider:
• Talking to your doctor about fatigue management medications
• Using energy conservation techniques
• Staying cool when possible
• Getting regular, appropriate exercise
• Breaking tasks into smaller portions

I know how you feel 30 yrs ago I was told by a reputable neurologist I was crazy and needed to see a psychiatrist should have seen look on her face when (I was a nurse) she followed me around the nurses station and I told her I had ms. I m sorry but sometimes you just feel that way. Plus the lab lost my spinal tap fluid. I can go on but I won’t. I can just say I know when certain things go on and on I just want to scream! I just wish I could feel better I’m tired it’s hard I hope you feel better and get answers if you could I would like to to know I didn’t mean to write a novel bless u Michelle

Yes yes yes!! Does anyone ever think: “How In the world can it be this hard to diagnose and treat? “

It just seems subjective. I have been through so many CT scans, X-rays, mris, spinal taps, all leaked csf so do overs and blood patches, tilt tables, epidurals in my cervical spine that missed snd cause chronic pain.

I guess I’m complying but I don’t mean or intend to. I would love to know what has worked for others? How to you take care of your family when they aren’t acknowledging you? They tell you they they see u as a burden.

Yes! 💯💯😌. My son snd hubby are sick, I either have the flu which has turned into pneumonia, or a flare up, or both.
I have devolved since mid week from a functioning human to one relegated to staying 4 feet from the restroom, with a fever of 193 (average) hot and bone chilling cold fluctuations
I digress: Happy Friday Everybody! If I knew better, I might feel bad for me too, but I don’t know life any other way! Here’s to forgetting the small stuff, meeting the world like new every morning- what a gift!!. I am so happy, and I hope you are too’ 🏞️
