There are drugs that can help with sleep, but doctors resist giving those out.

An aside: I lost my ability to have dreams for 15+ years or so. I slept fine, just no dreams. But while trying to fix MS sleep problems my neurologist prescribed me Valium. It didn't help fix my sleep issues *but* it did fix my ability to have dreams! I now have dreams like a "normal" person. But back to MS and sleep.

There's no doubt MS can impact sleep. But IMO sleep has many elements, including stress levels, diet, physical activity levels -- all sorts of things that play into us getting a decent night's sleep. If you're having sleep problems make sure those other aspects of your life are in order.

Dr. Boster has made a *bunch* of videos on sleep. In particular, his hour+ video is chock full of good tips: ( https://www.youtube.com/c/AaronBosterMD/search?...).

From my reading, the brain has at least 4 divisions called lobes.
Depending where leasions are located (lobe). Each lobe with leasions can produce its
own type of symptoms.

I don’t know the clinical answer but i would say yes. The lesion is just the damage to the nerve, the damage interrupts electrical impulses. What nerve is damaged, what signal is interrupted, will affect some physiological function. I would not be at all surprised if that would include sleep

Sleep difficulty, like fatigue, is a very common physiological symptom of MS
