Hi does anyone know how to get the process going on how to get a service dog for my MS?
All you need to do is need to get a note from your doctor (I would go to the neurologist for that) and they can provide written documentation saying you have a disability and you require a service dog. @A MyMSTeam Member is right…the MS Society should be able to help guide you to the right resource. Keep in mind, in the US (according to what I just read) a service dog will cost you anywhere between $15, 000 to $30, 000. Its a worthwhile investment, and I wonder if there is some organization that would help with the cost? Let me know what happens with that, Michael
I am sure that the National MS Society will have guidance.
