I have Blue Cross plus Medicare and it covers most of my deductibles with rarely any out of pocket. Good luck

Insurance is so frustrating. I'm in the process of trying to choose a plan also. Mine is almost $600 per month now 😡

JMP1960, I just added you to my team. I totally agree with what you said about Medicare, Supplements, and prescription drug plans. I just had my plan assessment. Now I have to figure which prescription plan will be the best. Both that I have to choose from some of my prescriptions aren't even covered. Or if they are it's $500 +. I am so thankful for my 2 part-time jobs = 40 hours so that I can cover my prescriptions.

Your employer negotiates with the insurance company every year, as to what tiers and networks can be used and for the costs. Hopefully your doctor can tailor your treatment according. When it comes time to pick a medicare option the plan c packages do you no flavors. That is medicare allowing the insurance companies to decide what will be covered. It's just a way for insurance companies to make more money. That's why you see so much advertising for them.In my opinion traditional Medicare part b and a supplement plan and part d plan for prescriptions are the way to go. If Medicare allows for it, such as infusions, then the insurance company has to pay for it
