Hi there, thanks for your reply. You are right nerve pain is nasty. I have a new doctor he has given me nortriptyline, unfortunately it has not touched the pain. Here in NZ it's very hard to find a doctor who knows much about ms, I get to see my neurologist once a year, so if there are new symptoms you are on your own.
I've had MS for 25 years now, nerve pain is the worst
I have tried Gabipentin, Lyrca is another name for it. I've tried 😪 alot of pain killer's but nothing really took the pain away. Now I am going to try a nerve stimulater which they put half way up your spine. I pray that it will take some of the pain away.
Absolutely. Would love to hear about it. I was diagnosed in early 2001 after a number of years dealing with issues I now assume we’re ms related issues, dr and hospital visits. Fast forward to today.and progression of the disease and my arms legs below the knee and a couple others to a lesser extent are all screaming with nerve pain. If you find something that works for you, please share.
Tried gabapentin but could not tolerate it. I have had MS for 44 years. Never had bad nerve pain until 6 months ago. I believe my Covid booster advanced MS into Transverse Myelitis. Pain in both upper arms is constant and difficult to deal with. Interested in hearing results of nerve stimulator.
