My husband is the one who works currently so I’m dependent on his insurance. He is switching jobs so I’ll have no coverage for meds, tests, and everything else health related for 3 months.
Even after he gets insurance I gave to pay out of pocket until deductible is covered and now I’m super worried about the burden I’m putting on our finances

All one can do is explore options. I happen to have a couple ideas in my “patient toolbox”…...
Try looking into these:

See if the job he's about to leave can provide COBRA coverage until the benefits at the new job kick in. You'll have to pay for the insurance in that gap, but at least you'll be covered.

Also ask your neuro office ideas for cheaper service. Many pharma companies offer assistance programs for their meds but I found a program through the hospital that houses my doctor which helps me pay for my DMT. Further, I know if you talk with the billing department wherever you receive services, whatever the services are, you can get some potential bill reduction. I bet your hubby thinks you're worth how much you will cost soon. You guys will figure a way to make things work without bankrupting you.

I had Cobra for a while, it’s expensive but it covers everything your insurance covers, you won’t have to pay out of pocket, I think it was well worth it
