Looking for a friend to compare notes with. Diagnosed Oct 2022 and am 69 years young. Everyone I've met in support groups has RRMS and are taking DMT's
I'm considering Ocrevus but have a history (2010) of breast cancer.
Any comments are welcome.
Cheers!

I am 76 years old. I’ve been on Orcevus for 3 years. Unfortunately for me the infusion lasts shorter every year. I am in secondary progressive stage as of 3 months ago. Be careful of the heat and humidity. If you wake up and your body says you are very tired, go with it. Anything you have planned for the day can wait for a few days later. Always go with what your body tells you.
Please note that unless you have active lesions then Ocrevus is not going to help you, even if they told you that you are PPMS.
And.......
Here are four very good Ocrevus groups on Facebook to join....

I am 76. My grandmother and her sister died of breast cancer. At my age I would rather take my chances with Orcevus and hopefully extend my life.
Thank you!
thank you for your comments. I'm guessing you were initially diagnosed with Relapsing Remitting MS as Secondary Progressive often follows that. I do try to listen to my body, but I find that more rest leads to more rest so I try and get myself moving. Not always easy
