According to my neurologist, what they see on the brain, black holes and lessions, don't marry up to how you're affected. I asked whether a black hole on my frontal lobe would cause any mood or sexual issues and he said they dont know.

If the black holes and lessions tell you nothing other than i have more... Why do they waste so much money doing them?

seems to me you got shrugged off because they DO KNOW how to map a BRAIN.
even so long ago that they did LOBOTOMIES to calm down overemotional over-excitablepeople?
you can find out stuff that CAN affect you and your MS.
google brain maps under several possible questions. "THEY DON'T KNOW" is a lie.
what they don't know is whether YOU will have THIS or THAT symptom, whether you will always have it or never have it.
it's the MS they can't predict, but they sure do know which parts of the brain control which parts of your body and your life.

According to the mssociety.org, they can't map the brain that well. They can tell you what part of the brain does what but not how a lession or black hole will affect that part. All sounds like bs to me, but its what I'm told

But have ppms 33 years. Still walk with rollator, vision never affected. But I have neurogenic bladder pretty bad.

PS I think initial mri must r/o out tumors pardon the thought. Beautiful day here in nyc..Yet. I feel a little down.ellen
