I live in a very hot region and recently found out heat and MS don’t play well together. I’ve been told that cooling vests (which I don’t have yet), cooling towels, etc will be my best friend. With or without using these tools how long have you been able to stay outside and have some fun in the sun? How have you been able to tell you are at your limit? maybe 20 min unless I am already having a bad day or its above 80 degrees
Humidity is very hard on me, even in shade, I can't handle more than 15 minutes if its really humid.
The heat is bad enough but the sun makes it worse. Can only tolerate it for maybe 30min before my body starts freaking out. If its humid its WAY worse!
I get exhausted and weak,
It depends on what the temperature is. Basically for me, anything above 83 with high humidity shuts me down. I can’t think clearly, can’t walk, am prone to falling, and can’t do much of anything. Basically I would love to live in a place that has an average temperature of 75-80, and low humidity, but I was born in Texas and will probably die here barring winning the Powerball Lottery.
