Over the weekend my legs became heavy, then stiff to where I couldn’t move them. This lasted about 20 minutes, then they were really weak until today, Monday. Is this common??
Thankfully my husband is a pta. He immediately started working my legs.
Nothing is "common" with MS. Get PT to help.
Having a PTA husband is lucky. If this was a new thing for you mention it to your neurologist. Try to remember what you were doing, taking, eating in the days right before. Heavy bones and I are old friends. In my case they are a type of fatigue. There are different medications that your doctor can try. One might help. To combat the stiffness try to get into a habit of gently fluttering or wiggling any body parts that can move. Not an actual workout. A workout would change your core temperature and that will bring new fatigue related issues. Just gently. Like a 2 year old at storytime and you are really into the story but really too young to sit still. Good luck.
Going to my first pta on Friday hopes it helps
