Myself and one of my brothers both have it. We were raised in the Pacific Northwest and lived in the same musty mold filled houses. It might not be hereditary but just runs in families based on geographic and environmental factors.
My father had it. I've seen studies suggesting MS may be. Also, there is genetic testing. I suggest ask your doctor/neuro.
Yeah, i had a second cousin, then me. My poor grand babies have me and my son in law s dad
Back when I was diagnosed in 1992, the doctors as well as all the MS literature said it was not hereditary. A few years later I located my birth family (I'm adopted) and my maternal aunt as well as a great grandfather had MS. Hmmm. Now my doctors say it is considered partially hereditary.
I’ve been told by my specialist that he thinks it comes from the area we grew up in. Also seen it can come from second hand smoke growing up.
