I just started taking Actonel and am concerned that it is making my muscles stiffer -which interferes with my walking and makes me more likely to lose my balance. I was trying to find out if anyone else had experienced this, what could be causing it, and whether, like some of the other side effects, it might disappear in time

Hi Beth, I was diagnosed with Osteoporosis late last year , I only got checked after watching a video on the subject by Dr Arron Boster, I’m doing extra exercises to strengthen my legs now hopefully that will help , I’m a little nervous about taking medication because I’m on so many already for MS , I feel lucky to have found out fairly early though, All the best on your journey & hope u have a good day.

Are you taking an osteoporosis medication?

I have increased stiffness and spasticity. I take baclofen. I wanna try something else.
