i know it's a morbid question, but breathing has become weird feeling for me lately, it feels like im not breathing at all sometimes even though i am, i have the hug/stiffness and reduced sensation in my mouth and lips so that doesn't help, but can this feeling hurt me?
MS for Dummies is a helpful book.
No. Life is a risk. You have MS, so there are added risks, but to worry about it is a waste of time and energy.
You could wake up blind or have no movement what so ever so which scenario sounds better to you? Death doesn’t sound so scary now
"Complications from MS" is what I've seen listed for cause of death. I developed asthma, which sounds like what you describe. Your diaphragm may also become paralyzed. Since everything is controlled by nerves, damage to "right" nerve could cause death. It does no good to worry. Let your doctor know about the issues you're having though the issues may go away.
No. But I have heard MS to be a suffering disease, as the symptoms don't stay away. I have met people in really bad shape, but the MS doesn't directly kill you, no.
I am so sorry for these instances that come! I call the random nerve pain "zingers." Hugs!
