I have another question…..For your MRI have they ever offered any type of headphones with music for you to put on so you don’t have to hear the awful noises that the machine makes?

I have used both headphones 🎧 and earplugs. The MRI machine sounds like aloud recording of AK-47s. 😜
Always earplugs but rarely headphones so I just take the ear plugs and just close my eyes and take deep breathes. Sometimes I do fall asleep.
I had headphones but no music, also ear plugs, I'm not sure about results yet. I don't see my neurologist until July but my primary care doctor will go over the results with me next week.
@A MyMSTeam Member I’m just doing a follow up, did you find a place for your MRI that has headphones? Hope all is well 🤗
Only one time for the last 40 years or so, however the sounds actually put me to sleep, which is refreshing because I don’t sleep too much. But as soon as I fall asleep, they tend to wake me up and shoot dye In my veins. Luckily for me, they pretty much could give me MRIs because they show the same results as it did for the first time, so I get them rarely anymore. that’s not actually a good thing for me because I have primary progressive MS. I’ve gone straight downhill after my second attack. when I was 23 the first attack happened when I was 11 years old, but didn’t realize that at that time. I have one of the rarest forms of MS which only 15% of us actually got it.
Good luck and God bless
