I know the sheer FRUSTRATION of foot drop! UGH! I just graduated from my AFO to an FES (functional electronic simulator) but I absolutely LOVED my AFO. It's distributed by OTTOBOCK and it's pricey at almost $700 outta pocket, but it lasted 2 years and more if I need it in the future. TOTAL investment. My insurance covered it (federal/state insurance b/c I am legally disabled), and I know there is funding and grants through the MS Society. I wish you luck Warrior. Keep fighting the good fight.
Thank you so much Lisa June. I also have a electronic stimulation device. Cost a fortune. It’s good for 1-2 hours then you need a break. Trying to get listed as disabled so at least some of the expense will be covered.. I will look into the ottobock !
Thank you for the information and positive feedback. … stay strong!
Hello, I also have PPMs!!
Thank you, I will give it a try.
I love these for my foot drop when it acts up. I have a few different colors and they last a long while. I've asked for a new one each Christmas. https://freedomwalkafo.com/
