Yes, several treatments are commonly used by individuals with MS to manage spasms:

- Baclofen (Lioresal): Often prescribed for muscle spasms and spasticity. It's a muscle relaxant that can be taken orally or delivered via an intrathecal pump for those who need higher doses.

- Tizanidine (Zanaflex): Another medication used to reduce spasticity.

- Dantrolene (Dantrium): Helps relieve muscle spasticity.

- Gabapentin (Lyrica) and Diazepam (Valium): These are also used to manage muscle spasms.

- Botulinum toxin (Botox): Injections of this can be used as a muscle relaxant for spasticity.

- Over-the-counter pain relievers: Aspirin, ibuprofen, and acetaminophen can provide temporary relief.

These treatments can vary in effectiveness and may have side effects, so it's important to discuss them with a healthcare provider to find the most suitable option.
