Wow @A MyMSTeam Member! 😬☹️ I’m glad the Butalbital seems helpful. I thought they took it away in 2022? *Discontinued

Idk 🤷 Any Barbiturate like that is a *great fit for Migraines, cluster headaches, etc.

I suffer from migraines and headaches...since I was 12. They left for a short period in my life and came back with a vengeance in my 30's...I'm not n my 50's and they have slowed down. I've been on A-Z as far as migraine meds but Effexor I had an allergic reaction (anaphylaxis). The more I read the more I find it is associated with MS. At one point I was having 19 migraines and 23 headaches a month. Knocking on wood that they have slowed way down. I do take Butalbital about 4 times a week. Good luck!

I had a headache most of May, migraine meds help but they're short term or there are other side effects. Seeing neuro next week. Some are mild that may or may not get real painful they are just constant. I don't have typical migraine symptoms so it's confusing. . Dr suggested effexor bit I'm worried about side effects. 🤷‍♀️

I deal with headaches that come on almost instantly and are about a level 7. They last about 3 hours.
