Now I'm afraid, or at least I don't want, to smell the milk to see if it's bad. I'm not sure if it's an MS thing or just a thing. Smells really bother me now. I know this isn't really a question but I could ask if any one else is affected by smells
A new faux smell happened to me for about 90 minutes...new clothes smell like I was at Kohls or JC Penny's 🙃
I started having problems with scents a during Covid (at first I blamed the mask wearing at work) finally diagnosed with MS 9 months later. I believe it's part of trigeminal neuralgia. I'll have bouts that make ask others does this food taste and smell okay, even when it's freshly made or bought. I also have times when I seem to smell strong smoke odor eventhough nothing is burning or anyone is smoking around me. No one has ever smoked cigarettes in my home that we have lived in for 23 yrs. Then I realized it was the MS doing it.
So far I haven't had that issue although I don't like the smell of milk even when it's not bad.

I have a really horrible gag reflex that has haunted me my entire life. I just can't do nasty odors. Or I wind up having a gagging fit. It has gotten worse with age. MS thing? Who knows? Your sense of smell is supported by your nervous system like everything else so possibilities are there.
