Hello everyone
I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions when I have extremely low to absolutely no energy
Yesterday, I took on 2 tasks. Combined, they took approximately 2 1/2 hours. But, afterwards, I was totally done. Actually, I probably went beyond my limit. It was a very painful evening.
The next day, today, I have very little to almost no energy to do anything.
It is debilitating, depressing, unproductive, a strain on the family and it really really sucks.
I used to have the… read more

Yep. I can do something semi heavy as a task, but I'll pay for it for about 3 days after. You have to give yourself time to recover and take it easy. Nothing wrong with a naptime or two. They can work wonders for me.

Dave,
I usually pay for it for a few days also. I just have a difficult time not doing anything. Even if it's for my own good.

I also plan 2 or so chores to do and very seldom get them both done. I have found if I over do it one day, the next day I can't do anything. I would think it's hard for people that have always been very active to have to slow down. The only thing that has worked for me is to stop before I get tired. Knowing when that time is, is the hard thing for me.

Im the same way. Yesterday i got most of a project done, took 3 1/2 hours and felt like i’d run a marathon. Slept great, but today my energy is extremely low, going to be a rest/recover day i can tell. Its frustrating that my body has such a shallow reservoir of strength and energy, ive tried everything to help, but no luck so far, except rest and recover. I know how you feel and greatly sympathize.

I used to be able to take a break after a couple of hours and be good for a couple more. Not anymore. I tried coffee, soda(too much sugar for me) and Redbull to no avail
