I have in the past followed Terry Wahls Diet for two years.
It is difficult to follow but I stuck to it and it gave me good results.

Has anyone else tried or on MS-specific diets?

I am also looking for motivation to restart the diet plan

Thanks

Yes, several people have tried different diets and observed changes in their health, particularly those with multiple sclerosis (MS). Here are some examples:

- Keto Diet: One MyMSTeam member reported significant weight loss and feeling great after combining the keto diet with exercise. They lost 140 pounds and maintained a 120-pound weight loss. However, another member had difficulty staying on the keto diet and did not see any benefits, even losing weight they couldn't afford to lose.

- Mediterranean, Low-Carb, and Fasting-Mimicking Diets: A study found that these diets, when combined with exercise, have a positive impact on people with MS. These diets may help reduce inflammation compared to traditional Western diets.

- Personal Adjustments: One individual cut out sugar, gluten, and dairy, and reduced caffeine and alcohol. They felt better when following this plan, experiencing less bloat and heaviness, and felt proud of themselves.

These examples highlight that while some people see positive changes, others may not experience the same benefits, and individual results can vary.

Because of all my husband's diet restrictions, following any one diet is difficult. I basically use a lot of fresh veggies and fruit, limit carbs. We do eat a lot of chicken because it is cheaper than beef. As long as numbers from lab work from both of us, stay in a good range, I'm ok.
