Since I was 64 when I was diagnosed, I guess that could be me. I stay inside as much as possible. If I have to do anything around the house, outside, I do it in the morning. I do have a cooling vest a fan that goes around my neck and always have ice water close by. A damp cloth around the back of my neck helps me a lot.

- Drinking cold drinks
- Sucking on ice cubes or popsicles
- Taking a cooling shower or bath (start with lukewarm water and gradually lower the temperature)
- Misting yourself with ice water
- Eating cool desserts and light meals
- Maintain a Comfortable Schedule: Plan activities to avoid the heat of the day and take your time with daily tasks.
- Exercise Wisely: Work out in cool environments, avoid hot or stuffy rooms, and exercise during cooler parts of the day like early morning or evening. Take regular breaks and stay hydrated.
- Use Cooling Garments: Consider using cooling vests, jackets, or scarves to help manage body temperature.
- Stay in Air-Conditioned Places: During hot weather, stay in air-conditioned environments as much as possible.
These steps can help manage heat sensitivity and prevent heat-induced MS symptoms.
