I feel like I have all of the symptoms pointing to MS, but they still hang on to Fibromyalgia. They will not order an MRI, spinal testing, further testing on my eyes. My family doctor feels very strongly that further specialized testing needs to be done, but we don't get anything from the several neurologist/ rheumatologist I have seen.

i am currently on my fifth Neurologist at an MS Clinic. I did see an MS Specialist in 2022 and I got a Fibromyalgia Diagnosis. The MS diagnosis came two years ago, only I did not care for the Neurologist who was treating me so I have been on a hiatus. I have had every weird test there is trying to understand my symptoms. Another MRI of the brain is scheduled for the 20th and I will see what happens.
Please keep searching for answers. You have every right to determine what your body is telling you. Hugs and Blessings...

I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia too, but also diagnosed with radiologically isolated syndrome with conversion disorder. He said 1 more lesion anywhere in the brain and he will diagnose with MS.

I have not tried an MS Center. I am not sure there is one near me in Central Illinois. I have noticed that General Neurology is very dismissive, but it is so hard to find an actual MS Specialist. And then a specialist that wants to review and test, instead of just rely on a Fibromyalgia diagnosis. It is such a stigma in having a Fibromyalgia diagnosis!
