I mostly am at +90% according to me. Very few times, and I consider myself lucky, I have to go through time, screen after screen to find exactly what I was looking for. On rare occasion, like tonight I had to ditch it all together, because after time, I forgot what it was I was looking for. FML, LOL!
I had lost my cognitive executive functioning and the ability to pay my bills and update my checkbook many years ago. But now my functioning has returned to as good as it was before my MS onset. So, please don't lose hope because symptoms that affect us might change back.
At age 72, my neuro & I can't come to a conclusion whether it's MS related
or just age. The test they give is kind of a waste since they ask you
simple things to remember, then 10 minutes later ask you for the answers.
My best is 6 out of 7. I guess as long as my short memory doesn't create
an emergency, I'll live with it.
I used to be an avid reader. Clancy novels; Nelson DeMille was big on my must read list! I have a hard time handing off short term memory to long term memory. I find myself reading a chapter or 2 and then reading them again before reading a new chapter.
@A MyMSTeam Member, You asked how I am, I don't know, I forgot! 🤣
