This hadn’t happen to me before but I have this red rash in the front of legs where the elastic from underwear lays. It is red and a bit swelled.

It’s kind of freaking me out. I put cortisone cream on it just now

My skin breaks out with itching rash from a lot of things like perfumed soaps, but not in hives. I do break out with hives and red swollen rash from cortisone now for whatever reason….It wasn’t always that way! Cortisone used to be the cure all for so much but I’m guessing my body got tired of it.  The body is a mysterious creature….I say just try to listen to it. Maybe get tested for allergies?  Good luck to you; sending hugs!Sent from my iPad

@A MyMSTeam Member, if you have a compromised immune system, this type of allergy is more common. MS meds, or DMTs, compromise people's immune systems. 🤔 I'm sorry you have this.

Get new underwear and bras that don't contain spandex, latex, or elastics.

My mother is a nurse and all the years using latex gloves made her deathly allergic to latex and spandex.
