There are a lot of different meds and the side effects can be scary. But the disease without meds can be scary. I was 64 when I was diagnosed, The meds won't cure the disease but they can slow down the progression.. Talk to her dr.

There are kids diagnosed as young as 7 or 8 as I know I met alot of young children diagnosed with MS at the Mayo Clinic. It is heartbreaking as most of us got to still be kids and teenagers before the "MonSter" reared its head. They were denied those years.

I’m so glad they’ve caught it early. I know that’s not a big relief because she has it but medication has come so far. 🤗 hang in there bless your heart for supporting her

I actually had symptoms as a pretty young child but they were ignored just as my growing pains were ignored the year I turned 11 and grew about four inches taller. My mom accused me of rolling up my skirts as they were getting noticeably shorter.
