It's completely normal for side effects to vary between infusions, including emotional changes. Everyone's experience with MS infusion therapy is different, and reactions can change over time. If you're concerned about these new emotional symptoms, it's important to inform your healthcare team. Make sure to contact your MS specialist about any new side effects, even if they seem mild or you're unsure if they're related to your treatment. Your neurology team needs this information to determine if any monitoring or adjustments are needed for future infusions. Some people may experience changes in symptoms close to infusion times, known as the "wearing-off phenomenon." This can include various symptoms that typically improve within a few days after the infusion. Remember that with proper support and communication with your healthcare team, you can effectively manage these experiences.
