It is for someone who doesn't understand how I'm feeling. I need to find a better solution.
BarbM and Jj3, I've been very clear about my health. He doesn't want to hear about any of it. He has many health issues too but mine is not mentioned. I need to listen to myself now. I will talk with my doctors also.
I have found it's best to just be upfront. Just say you're not feeling well and you need to rest. If they understand, that's good. If they don't understand, too bad. Don't let worrying about them,, make you worse,
I can only share my experience. I was in relationship with someone with ADHD. The idea of a fun Saturday was going out all day-lunch, movies, walking in the mall for exercise, then out to dinner. Toss in there doing normal stuff like the supermarket, etc.
I live in Florida so it’s hot. We had to do it all together always. It started to affect my health as no matter how much I did, it was never enough.
Sure, I shared info on MS, went to my neurologist together- didn’t help.
There was always an expectation that I travel, go to the beach, and go to all types of events (concerts to bday parties).
I decided my health was more important and left the relationship. I am now in a relationship that brings me peace.
Please take what you like and leave the rest.
PS: Remember “NO” is a complete sentence.
My advice: focus on yourself. Leave this man to his own devices
Thanks for the hug 🤗
