I’m looking for some first hand opinions on the medication briumvi.

I love Briumvi I'm actually getting my next infusion on Friday. My loading doses went off smoothly. My first full dose I had a slight infusion reaction of chills during the infusion & 24 hours later sore joints and tiredness but, considering all the garbage in my system with exploding b-cells not a big deal. After talking with my MS neuro we decided to do my second infusion without steroids because I don't do well with them anyway and NO reaction. So maybe it was just the steroids and not Briumvi? who knows? Just Benadryl & Acetaminophen for pre-meds for me.

Briumvi (ublituximab) is a relatively new MS medication, approved by the FDA in December 2022 for treating relapsing forms of MS. Because it's so recent, there's limited firsthand experience shared among the MS community compared to longer-established treatments.

Briumvi is given as an infusion once every 24 weeks (about every 6 months), which many find convenient compared to more frequent dosing schedules. It works similarly to other infusion medications like Ocrevus.

Common side effects can include:
- Infusion reactions
- Upper respiratory tract infections
- Other infections
