I'm the only person I know that has it. That's not counting the people on the MS sites I'm on.

There is a genetic component in some. I know a few people on here with relatives who have it as well

I'm sorry. My sister has had it for 25 years. She's in her late 60s. I'm 58

I was told it is not hereditary, however some people are genetically predisposed to it. As far as I know I am the first person in my family to have it.
