When I was a teenager, I used to smoke pot for fun. Those were really fun days. I gave it up when my husband & I were thinking family. After having my son and in less than a year down the line, I was dx with MS. I brought it back into my life. However, after smoking it I would cough too much. I biffed it again but added THC edibles to my repertoire to aid in my insomnia. Once in a blue moon, and I guess my moon is blue because I have been "enjoying it" a lot lately. I avoided drugs most of my life. Then I got peripheral neuropathy...all limbs and face. Pain dominated my life and interrupted my sleep. I was a flower child of the 60's. I retired and tried every product I could find none worked. My GP is from MA (my birthplace ( it is legal there and had used Marijuana to treat his own pain and nausea when he had brain cancer years ago). He suggested it would help me once it was legal in VA.. And he prescribed for me Medical Marijuana. 6 years ago. Its a synthetic in a pill I get at the pharmacy. It is called Marinol.or Drobinol. I saw it was helpfull
Only has 5 THC took twice a day. It curbed pain and I had a good night's sleep. I could still drive. It has been helpful in life and reduced my stress. Then it was suddenly having manufacture issues and not available (due to tariffs I am told). My GP helped me find a mail order similar product. It's a gummy of CBD with 5 mg. So I am using that now. If a painful day I double it at night. I don't believe it is harmful. I have researched. I regret I did not know sooner how helpful it is. My Vertigo has escalated and I now have Migraines. My doctor told me that "nobody should be in pain". I wish my doctors all had an open mind.
I never did THC until I was older. I think I was 40 something. I was so against it, but I don't care anymore. I am out of pain!! I smoke, do edibles, whatever I can buy online. I just hope I am never drug tested🤣
My dogs are my life. Just to have someone to take care of makes my day. My son has been trying to grow a strain for me to smoke that will help me. He is getting close. If it works use it. I would say just make sure it doesn't increase properties of your other medications.
