Members shared all kinds of plans for St. Patrick's Day, with opinions on corned beef and cabbage ranging from enthusiastic fans to firm pass-ers. Several members offered helpful cooking tips, including slow cooker and Instant Pot recipes, while others opted for Reuben sandwiches, Irish soda bread, shepherd's pie, or colcannon as alternatives. A recurring theme was community connection, with members swapping holiday memories, food traditions, health considerations like sodium intake, and even a lively discussion about whether corned beef and cabbage is truly Irish or an Irish-American tradition.

Yes, I make it in a Insta pot and from start to finish it takes 1 hour and 20 min's. I put the corned beef into the Insta pot fat side up, add the seasoning packet, add some thyme, garlic, chopped onion and a couple of bay leaves. Pressure cook for 1 hour and 5 min's. Let the steam release naturally, then when all pressure is gone open it up and add your carrots, potato's and cabbage. Pressure cook for 15 min's, release the pressure and enjoy
