I can't tell you how long it will be until you are in a chair, maybe never, let's hope. They always say MS is different for everybody. Maybe you're done progressing, keep the faith.😊
I actually struggle with this. I got really down a few weeks ago and my husband asked me what was wrong and I replied, “I hate to sound like April (from Parks & Recreation) but I know the reality of my disease and I kind of know that my MS is just going to progress so every so often, I get this impending doom feeling. I guess you caught me in ‘my ‘so often’ part of my day.” But sometimes I can pull myself out by thinking of the small wins that are happening right now …. Like, even though I complain about going to work and how some days it’s difficult because of brain fog or fatigue or numbness, I’m thankful that I can still get up and go to work … or that I can still go for a walk without assistance. Got to celebrate every win ❤️
