how this drug will effect my MS. I've had MS for 26 years and am some where between RR and Secondary. So... is there anyone out there who takes Prolia and if it changes your MS in any way? Thanks, Valerie
I had 2 Prolia injections 6 months apart and then my insurance wouldn’t cover it anymore and the switched me to Jubbonti which is also an injection every 6 months
Neither one effected my MS
I have or had osteoporosis. I take alendronate, it's a once a week pill. My osteoporosis improved to where it is now osteopenia. I had the osteoporosis diagnoses a few years before the MS one. I get a bone density scan every year when I get my mammogram, now it's every other year for the scan
Are you concerned about how Prolia might affect your MS?
Many MyMSTeam members have osteoporosis alongside MS, so you're definitely not alone. Having both conditions is quite common, especially for those who've been living with MS for many years or have taken steroids for symptom management.
