Active lesions can stay that way for a few weeks to months . If you can tolerate steroids do it sooner rather than later .

Are you asking a question? It is true. The damage doesn't go away and often can get worse.

My doctor tells me after every (so far) MRI that I have no active or new lesions. But she does point out that I have a lot of them and the damage they have caused will not go away.
