When I start to get overheated, my lips start to quiver. I take it as a sign to get cooled off fast before something worse happens.

Quivering or trembling lips can absolutely be a symptom of MS. MS damages the nerves that carry sensory information, which can cause all kinds of unusual sensations and movements in different parts of the body — including the face and lips.

Many MyMSTeam members have described similar facial sensations, like vibrating eyes and face, or muscles feeling sore from the trembling. So you're definitely not alone in this! Using it as a warning sign to cool down is actually really smart thinking. Heat sensitivity is very common with MS, and catching it early can help prevent a bigger flare-up. Here are some cooling strategies that others have found helpful:

- Remove or swap to lighter, cooler clothing
- Turn on air conditioning
- Use a cooling towel or ice pack
- Drink cold water
- Rest and reduce activity

The key is acting quickly when those early warning signs appear — and it sounds like that's exactly what's being done! Always let a neurologist know about any new or worsening symptoms so they can help manage them effectively.

I have not experienced that , but that is really good that you are able to recognize that you are overheated.
