I take Dalfampridine (Ampyra) twice daily (7 am & 7 pm) and for me it has been very helpful, along with PT, at getting me back in balance. I will add on one observation: I noted something that I had actually traced too. This medication, since it tied back to periods when was taking it and was out of the medication and hence did not take it, I asked my neurologist look back at the data available to research whether or not this was a known side effect or not. Looking all the way back to its initial trials she found nothing of the sort reported, but my own experience is that the medication actually increases my dream activity. Not in terms of movement and the like, but rather in terms of how vivid my dreams are and how often I will now remember them for a bit after I wake up. Not something to be taken as a negative response, because I have some memory of dreaming before I was diagnosed, just my observation that Dalfampridine is reactivating some part of my brain too, which is why I call them "Dalfampridine Dreams". Considering how many things Ms has taken away from our minds, this could be a positive. π
