With any new drug, I usually will wait until it has been released and used for a couple of years. Call me paranoid, however I don’t trust the FÐA especially after the c0vid debacle.

There are a couple going on the newest being PTD802. The FDA cleared the investigational new drug application in June 2026 allowing clinical trials to begin. It's a selective GPR17 antagonist. In MS GPR17 expression gets dysregulated which stops OPC's from maturing into myelin-producing cells. PTD802 blocks this receptor to remove the blockade and promote remyelination. I'm cautiously optimistic

That's super exciting. I would totally try it. I was recently approved to go to the multiple schlorosis center of excellence in okc. I'm definitely going to ask about it or anything that actually repairs myelin rather than just slows progression. I'm game to be a lab rat for whatever could help me and others.
