Members connected over the question of losing the gradual transitions of falling asleep and waking up, with many sharing that they experience the same sudden on-off sleep pattern alongside internal tremors, frequent nighttime bathroom trips, and insomnia dating back to childhood. Several members shared strategies that have helped, including melatonin, magnesium, gabapentin prescribed by a neurologist, THC edibles, trazodone, power naps, and adjusting work schedules to accommodate daytime fatigue. A recurring theme was learning to accept these sleep challenges as part of life with MS, finding comfort in knowing others share the same experiences, and holding onto humor and community warmth along the way.

Yeah. My sleeping has been pretty weird. THC edibles help to sleep through the night and not be to groggy in the morning. Nothing a cup of coffee can't handle

I have had insomnia since I was a child. Now I use cannabis to help me fall sleep, but I still wake up at 2-3 am and then am awake for the rest of the day.

I changed my work schedule to 6am to 2pm so I can have a nap when I crash.
