I am more put together. As soon as I come back, shoes are off, bra is off, back in PJs aren't we all the same? My father would sit in his recliner with dress shoes, jeans and a belt, all day...damn those would have been flung off to the sides. I think we all seek comfort...everything hurts me, even when it is loose it's too tight. Also known as the MS hug!

Members connected warmly over the relatable experience of shedding restrictive clothing the moment they get home, with many noting that tight or stiff clothes make MS symptoms like leg weakness, spasms, and the MS hug much worse. Several members shared that they now wear sweatpants, loose shorts, or soft pull-on pants even for outings like doctor visits, and many mentioned ditching jeans, bras, and heavy blankets to reduce discomfort and improve daily comfort. A recurring theme was finding joy and self-care in small comforts, from favorite recliners to fluffy blankets and cozy robes, with the community cheering each other on.

I get my shoes off as soon as possible. Fortunately, I donโ€™t have to worry about the bra.

@A MyMSTeam Member, no make up either . I only use a little mascara and a light lipstick ๐Ÿ’„ anyway when I am going to church or out. The clothes comment was referring to tight restricted clothes. I haven't worn jeans in so long that they feel tight now! I live in leggings and long baggie shirts.

I put so much energy into getting out of the house. Once Iโ€™m back, I first pat myself on the back for whatever I did and get into comfy clothes. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Oh yes, Shannon; my bra came off too during inventory and Kmart days! sometimes I'd change to sweats and shirts, summertime-t-shirt or tank top and shorts as well as sandals.
