I'll be 72 yrs old in two months, have been very active for my age, and thought I was doing really good healthwise. But last month, I was hospitalized for two weeks because I had an episode of polyneuropathy from my feet that traveled all the way up to my chest with a few days, and was diagnosed with MS. I'm hoping I'll die of old age before I become seriously disabled.

I was diagnosed at age 40, denied for the first 10 years as few symptoms, then lost my eyesight so ended up in hospital, steroid shot, sight back , next 10 years symptoms from time to time lost balance, left hand problems but for past 10 years lots of changes, especially with mobility, now using walker and wheelchair.
