Members discussed whether regular massages help with pain, with many sharing that they do provide relief, at least temporarily, through methods like Swedish massage, deep tissue, hot stones, and cupping. Several members also mentioned helpful alternatives including chiropractic care, acupuncture, pressure point injections, and handheld massagers as affordable or accessible options. A recurring theme was that relief varies by person, with some finding deep tissue too intense, and cost being a common barrier that leads members to explore clinics, student schools, or at-home tools.

I would of insurance could pay for it! I used to and like DrDaleEdberg said... Deep tissue is what works for me. If you're able, you should just go once, full body and see how that feels 🤷🏻‍♀️🤗
Give it a try!

I don't have a specific massage that I require. I do have the person work on the body part or parts that are needing it more than the rest of my body. I like the hot stones used on me. Have had cupping. I also don't mind switching to different people, as everyone has different techniques they like to use.

Yes as often as I can afford them. I have a massage school that when they have student clinics I'm in there every week. One of the things that helps me able to move easier and not hurt as much.
