The heavy feeling in your feet and the shaking are both recognized symptoms of MS. Here's what's likely going on:
Heavy Feet
- MS disrupts signals between your brain and body
- This can make your legs and feet feel weighted down, like wearing "concrete shoes" as one MyMSTeam member described
- Spasticity (muscle stiffness) can also contribute to that heavy sensation Shaking/Tremors
- MS can cause both visible tremors and internal shaking sensations
- These can affect the feet and legs especially
- Some people notice them more when resting or lying still Why Rain Makes It Worse
Cold and damp weather can heighten MS symptoms for many people. Cold temperatures can trigger increased sensitivity in already affected nerves, making heaviness and tremors feel more noticeable.
It's worth mentioning these symptoms to your neurologist, especially any changes in how often or how severely they occur. Since you're not currently on a DMT, this conversation could be really valuable.

Rainy days, change in barometric pressure, etc all affect my head. Some days I feel so confused and disoriented, itโs like Iโve replaced my brain with heavy dark clouds. Hoping you feel better โค๏ธโ๐ฉน soon. ๐๐งก
