When I first starting experiencing anxiety, I tried to talk myself through the symptoms, the thoughts that kept racing, I was making myself more of a nervous wreck. I finally went in to my neurologist and he suggested a couple of different medications. It took some time for me to convince myself that I needed them and know matter what the stigma is to taking certain medications, it was better than feeling the way I did. After a few months-I began to feel like a normal person and did not fret over every little/mediocre thing. I am not a zombie-am able to work and function well with the medications.

I was placed on anti-anxiety and anti-depression medication. Seems to have helped so far.

I tried Cymbalta an Vibrid recently with no luck switching from Paxil. Anxiety has lessened some for now. My Mom is in Michigan for the summer so she made the trip over here and stayed this week and that helped!
