I'm really having a hard time with the decision to stop yet another medication!! Copaxone caused me deep depression now on Tecfidera and I have elevated liver enzymes and diarrhea, weak and of course I'm having an attack, just wondering if anybody has had success with say just solu medrol iv treatment? I feel so much better after those treatments, it doesn't last but I love how I feel for the few months???
I love the once a day, oral drug, Gilenya! My mobility has improved dramatically over the last two years and no side effects, for me. I couldn't handle Avonex but, I did it for a couple of years. This drug, and I believe there is a new oral available also, is just such a better thing for me!! Life is improved :)
the bad thing about the high dose steroids is that their bad for your bones.i had both of my hips replaced in 2010 from years of solumedrol treatments.Have you tried Tysabri once a month iv.Been on it for 5 years and doing great.Good luck!!
Yes! not a good Idea for me...my ms started showing signs of progressing!
I've been on Tysabri for over 5 years. It is the only MS med that has done anything to help me. I tried going off it one time to get pregnant and my body reacted so badly that I ended up in the hospital for a month.
