Just wondering if, prior to being diagnosed with MS, how many may have visited a chiropractor for treatment.
I was going to one for 3 years, I just stopped 4 month ago couldnt afford it anymore. I am not sure if it actually helped or it was my mind telling me it was working.
I saw one for years before I found out I had MS. It was actually my chiropractor that had done his college thesis on MS and if it was not for him I may still not l know what was wrong with me!
All the time, before and since. Gives me much relief.
Like a lot MS victims, prior to my dx, I had issues that came and went. I was having problems stumbling, walking like a drunk, etc. I went to a chiropractor, he took an x-ray and said one hip was out of alignment. I went to him once a week for several weeks with no improvement so I stopped. Later, I learned my hips were fine. He more or less lied to me. I do know chiropractors have a noble purpose but I have been told by MD, If treatment does not help in 3 or 4 sessions, you are just making his car payments.
I had severe migraines when I was 16 years old. I went to the chiropractor and had several treatments and they went away. I realized that stress and anxiety brought them on, my parents were going thru a very messy divorce, so I've learned to let thing go, give it to the lord and never had a migraine since. I sometimes give the impression of someone who has that don't give a crap attitude, but that's the only thing that keeps me sane in this crazy world. "Don't worry be Happy" is my motto.
