I have had MS hug before, not as bad as some. I have been going to PT for the past 6 weeks to improve leg and hip strength on my weaker right side. I noticed that one of the stretches I do seems to help with my right flank pain and MS hug, along with the other stuff it is suppose to do. I lay on my stomach, and stretch my hip flexors and back by resting my head on my hands with a pillow shoved under my bust/chest and my elbows supporting my head - a kind of back bend. I have been doing this for 15 minutes 5 or 6 times a week and it really seems to feel good during the stretching and after. So far, no down sides.
