Does anyone use marijuana for their pain?
Yes!! I swear by it. I agree with JSD, knowing where and how's it's grown is very important. Different strains do different things to your body and knowing what you have is key. Sativas help with brain fog and fatigue; Indicas with pain and spasticity.
I live in Alaska, so thankfully it's legal here.

It's regrettable that the masses (and I'm not speaking of folks on this website) are quick to turn a blind eye, or start quoting "Reefer madness" when this topic comes up. Yes it does help. It helps immensely. There's nothing I have found that can relax your mind and body when you've been dealing with that F'n sensation of your legs and feet asleep for weeks on end. "That" can generate it's own madness. And we all know that the IV therapy, the repeated dosing of Steroids, and the incredible weakness doesn't do much for those sleepless nights. Problem lies with the states that don't allow it yet. Both my Neurologist and my family doctor know I use it. And they both accept that I use it. They know the relief it brings when nothing else on the market will work. They're not really hip on the respiratory disadvantages it has, having to smoke and all, but both have indicated to me that if our silly backwards state would allow medicinal use of it, they'd back me on it. So, nothing short of getting arrested, (a little common sense and that can be avoided) you know my answer.
@A MyMSTeam Member Knows whats up!! It is the best medicine that I have found. I remember dosing off all the time if I just sat down: Church, anywhere.
I got off all of the man made pain medicine, except I take 2 of those norco pills, loritab. I am able to be a lot closer to living a normal life. This has helped my bladder problems also. I use to have to cath several times a day and know I may have to once a week.
This is the best medicine, pain, muscle tensions, vertigo, going to sleep, instead of insomnia. All of us should be able to chose our medicine.
It has been shown to decrease Neuropatic Pain , but doctors only know Norco., soma and oxy condone, drugs that ARE addictive and dangerous. Eating the plant has more benefits than smoking the plant. But smoking the plant usually provides instant relief and relaxation.
Yes and it works for me. Get off of that man made pain meds and get on the gonga. I proudly do rave on this site about marijuana and it is because it really works. It relaxes you, so your muscles are not hurting and it can relieve other pain.
