I was initially on Avonex for several years (5 I think) and would weekly get severe chills where my body would either draw up tight or go hard and stiff, the whole while violently shaking with my teeth chattering and literally unable to get warm. I would even, uncharacteristically, call out in pain and from the severe cold. I began keeping a knit cap nearby and even mittens as well as warm thick socks which my hubby would help me don along with throwing extra blankets on me, including an electric blanket in an effort to help. I later learned that what I was experiencing weren't just side effects, but seizures from the medication. So definitely, if it continues, contact your neurologist and detail exactly what is happening as well as contact MS ActiveSource and speak with the pharmacist as well as a nurse.

Jeffrey-I would make sure it was from the Avonex. I have friends that had Covid and that was a symptom of it. Take a Covid home test and call your Neurologist/Internist. Feel better Jeffrey🌹

Jeffrey, I'm also on Copaxone. Copaxone has been the only injection drug I've been on since 2009.

Betaseron caused me to have three exacerbations in three months. After the three months I quit using it. Baclofen and Neurontin do not agree with me either. I talked nonstop when i took Baclofen and told my kids everything they had ever wanted to know about me and then some. lol When I took the Neurotin i talked to my exhusband all day long one day and never spoke to him or saw him at all that day but in my mind i was having a full conversation and the next day i talked to my daughter and son in law all fay and they were not here either. So now I take Gilenya, Hydrocodone, and Zanaflex and I am perfectly happy in my own little world
