How many people were pot users prior to being diagnosed? And how many people have started using Marijuanna since their diagnosis?
Where do most people stand on the issue of whether it is helping MS Suffers (specifically) with pain & symptom mngmt?
I am just about to start medical weed for MS. In the form of an "Aero" chocolate bar. See how I do. Then move onto brownies , chocolates fudge cookies and peanut butter putter cups. I've never smoked in my life (I'm 40) and I don't want to start now. So will see what the snacking foods do with medical "stuff". I'll be sure and key you know if it works for me.
Mine is all for it.....it is so much better and healthier for u than all those addicting pain pills....marajuina is just a plant!!!
@A MyMSTeam Member - In MN- It is only legal in pill or oil form, and only legal for certain medical conditions - MS NOT being one of the conditions. When I found that out, I was really bummed because it helps with tremors, which I get occasionally. (I can still get the smoke form from my 21 year old - he's a good son!)
I haven't used it myself smoking but have made butter for people, it actually lasts longer than smoking it. Of course when cooking it down you use a lot more marijuana in the process so no one profits from sales. Growing up my mother and her friends used it for medical purposes as well as other herbs. in teas, poultices. It has been used as a medicine for centuries by Native Americans
I truly feel, that in high school I didn't have any ms issues and that is because of the pot,but now I have a lot of problems,I think if I continued I would be better off!
