All I wear in the summer time are flip flops of some type and cowboy boots in the winter. Both seem to be ok for me..I had to give up high heels and higher heels on flip flops and boots so that was way sad for me!

I have to have it so that ANY footwear is secured to my feet by shoelaces or straps. I would suggest lookingaround and just trying some on. Some people are able to deal with one sandal that others may hate. Its all kind of personal.
